Late Mail: In a big boost for the Bulldogs, Jacob Kiraz (ankle) and Max King (sternum) have passed their fitness tests and cleared to play. It comes after some confusion from Bulldogs head of football Phil Gould on Thursday. Gould original tweeted “Jacob Kiraz is not playing” after apparently failing to recover from an ankle injury. Six hours after his original tweet, Gould said: “Actually, hold the presses. I may be mistaken. Jacob Kiraz is actually having a run at training here tonight in Brisbane. I was told he was out. Now told he has been given until tomorrow. They will check him again in the morning. Blake Wilson is on standby. My apologies.”
